This suite of offices in the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce Building served as the central office of Alpha Chi Omega from 1929-61.
The headquarters at 8733 Founders Road was constructed for Alpha Chi Omega's specific needs.

The 1985 National Convention was the 100-year celebration for Alpha Chi Omega. The five days were packed with activities, including a special DePauw Day, where attendees packed onto buses in groups and made their way to Greencastle, Indiana, for a tour of campus, a pageant of our founding, a concert by the Founders' Memorial and presentation by National President D'Alice Cochran.
The first convention walk-a-thon, "Stepping out against violence" was in 1996. This tradition continued through 2006 and attendees can be seen here, in 2000, raising awareness for our national philanthropy Domestic Violence Awareness.

In 2006, The Foundation built and dedicated the Founders' Forum on the headquarters property. There are seven pillars on the outside that feature the signature of each founder. The large sculpture in the center represents the entwined connection of the founders themselves and the organization.
The Alpha Chi Omega central office moved to its first fraternity-owned property at 3445 Washington Boulevard in 1961. This building served as the fraternity's headquarters until 1974.
